New Zealanders spend an average of 1,762 hours per year at work. We often talk of “work-life balance” as though they’re separate, but treating work as an interruption to life, rather than central to it, is an easy way to ignore problems that can be detrimental to Kiwis' overall mental health and wellbeing.
