Who are Volunteers?
Volunteers come from all walks of life and from all around the country.  Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Lifeline New Zealand; without them, we would be unable to provide many of the helplines and services that are vital to our community.

We have Lifeline Aotearoa branches in Auckland, Waikato and Christchurch.

We are always looking for volunteers for our 24/7 helpline, 0800 Kidsline and face to face counselling.  As a volunteer counsellor you are asked to dedicate nine hours a month to Lifeline, and in exchange we provide training that meets international best-practice, the chance to make a very real positive difference in the lives of people who call us, and a great team environment!
