| Payroll Giving | | What is it?
Payroll giving (also known as workplace giving) is now available in NZ and is an easy, flexible and efficient way to make your donation work even harder for Lifeline.
Payroll giving gives you the opportunity to donate to approved donee organisations like Lifeline direct from your pay and receive immediate tax credits that reduce your tax (PAYE).
So in effect to make a $10 donation to Lifeline only costs you $6.67 as you will get a third back in tax which is credited to you straight away. | | Not every employer will offer payroll giving so ask your manager or the accounts/wages/HR person if it available where you work.
(NB: If you are an employer and would like to offer your staff a payroll giving option click here for details of how to set up the scheme or email or call Lifeline on 09 909 8750)
