Mensline is a telephone based counselling service specifically for men and staffed by male only counsellors.
Operated by LifeLine Auckland, Mensline’s free national service has been supporting, encouraging and empowering men to create positive change in their lives for over 12 years. |

| If I call Mensline what can I expect? |
|
At Mensline we know that men and women do things differently; we relate differently to our partners, our families, our friends and even to ourselves.
When you call Mensline you will speak to a male counsellor who will accept, support and encourage you and offer you the opportunity to talk about your problems openly and honestly. In this way Mensline can help you deal with some of the pressure in your life in safety.
We are not just here for you at the point of crisis; we can also be the catalyst for positive change and the means by which you can begin to improve the quality of your relationships and start to take positive step in your everyday life.
We won't "fix" your problems for you, or tell you what to do, but we will support and encourage you and treat you with respect and dignity. |

What services does Mensline offer?

- Telephone Counselling - call us and speak in confidence to a male counsellor about any issue
- Call Back Counselling – if you call Mensline and require further support after your initial contact with us, we can offer you the option of receiving a phone call back from a counsellor at an agreed date and time.
- Call Again Counselling – when you call Mensline you can request to set up a time to call again at a future date to speak to the same counsellor who you previously spoke with. This will allow you to "pick up where you left off" with your counsellor if you feel that this would be helpful to you.
