NZMA Project

New Zealand Management Academy (NZMA) students in Henderson are currently taking part in a 2 week call centre project to help raise money for Lifeline Auckland. The project is the final assessment for graduating students from NZMA’s National Certificate in Contact Centre Operation and allows students the opportunity to take part in a real life interactive marketing and fundraising campaign with the added benefit of helping raise much needed donations for Lifeline.

The students call existing donors who have perhaps not donated to recent Lifeline campaigns as well as “new prospects” in the hope that they will choose to support Lifeline. As part of the project students also learn about Lifeline’s work and services to the community.

“This is the 3rd year that; we have worked with NZMA on a campaign – we are always really impressed with the level of professionalism, commitment and the enthusiasm with which the students tackle the project” said Sarah Frayne, Lifeline Auckland’s Fundraising Manager. The students volunteer their time and NZMA provides the call centre facilities at no cost to Lifeline so every dollar raised goes directly to Lifeline support its counselling services.
