Volunteer Receptionist / Admin Support

We're looking for a friendly, self-motivated volunteer to help us with the delivery of efficient and effective administrative services. Duties will include:

  • Greet visitors and managing client appointments, announce arrivals as and when required.
  • Answer incoming calls, taking and processing messages as required.
  • Issuing receipts for visitors making purchases.
  • Manage a broad range of incoming calls of distress in a calm manner by transferring these callers to the appropriate person.
  • Monitoring text messages on Message Media and sending out appointment reminders via SMS.
  • General office duties such as monitoring stocktakes and notifying the Office Assistant when low on stock. 
  • Ensure the kitchen facility is clean and supplies are readily available.
  • Assist the Face to Face Manager with any administrative tasks as and when required.
  • Data Entry of clients details from their triage forms into Access database & Excel docs.
  • Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities and ad hoc projects from time to time.
