0800 Kidsline has over 60 Buddies who can help children work through issues. At 0800 Kidsline we don't give advice, instead we support and encourage callers to come up with the best solutions to their problems.
Our service is anonymous and confidential and aims to:
to help children develop positive social behaviours
to assist children find positive ways of dealing with pressures in their lives
to assist children to express limiting feelings and gain confidence in communication
to assist children gain social skills and life skills necessary to healthy and productive lives
to help children develop clarity on goals and a sense of direction and future in their lives
to help children develop commitments to themselves & to healthy relationships with peers, family & teachers
to help children gain a determination and courage to do their best
to promote health related behaviours as well as preventing illness and injury among children |
